职位描述
教务行政专员在教务办公室处于核心地位。主要负责教务政策与方案的执行,与学生和教学人员的沟通。要求应聘者能够适应快节奏,思想开放,有创造性的工作环境,并能从中积累大学行政工作的宝贵经验。
- 协助教学人员完成教学工作,包括:1)课前准备课程材料;2)订购并分发课程教材;3)处理课程资料,参考书,课程软件等版权相关事务
- 协助教学人员处理其他教学相关事务
- 维护学生选课系统和管理学生考勤记录
- 协调考试及成绩录入
- 维护教室分配系统和其他校园设施
- 完成教务相关的沟通,如发送院内事务实时通讯信息和邮件给学生和老师
- 协助计划,制定及执行指定的教务方案,包括但不限于迎新周,学术项目支持, 课外活动,例如模拟法庭, 法学评论,校外实习和其他教务活动。
职位要求
- 教育:本科以上学历,硕士优先。如有海外留学经历或有法律,教育,咨询,英语等相关领域背景的优先。
- 语言:中文为母语,优秀的英文写作和口语能力。
- 技能:优秀的沟通能力,时间观念强,具有多任务同时处理的能力,注重细节,具有跨文化意识,积极乐观,适应性强,有能力与不同部门的人合作。

STL’s Office of Academic Affairs seeks to hire an Officer of Academic Affairs. This position reports to the Director of Academic Affairs.
Responsibilities
The Officer of Academic Affairs will have a central role in the Office of Academic Affairs, relied upon heavily for implementing office initiatives and interacting regularly with students and faculty. The candidate will join a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and innovative environment, gaining valuable experience in university administration.
- Assist faculty with classes, including: (i) helping to prepare materials before class, (ii) procuring and disseminating course textbooks, and (iii) securing copyright permissions for course packs, reference books and software
- Assist faculty with other research- and teaching-related needs
- Maintain class enrollment system and student attendance records
- Administer final exams and issue transcripts
- Maintain allocation system for classrooms and other campus facilities
- Assist with Academic Affairs communications such as newsletters and e-mails to faculty and students, as assigned
- Assist with the planning, execution, and development of major Academic Affairs initiatives as assigned, including but not limited to Orientation Week, academic support programs, co-curricular activities such as moot court and law review, for-credit externships, and other academic programming
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree, master’s degree preferred. In addition, candidates with study abroad experience and/or a background in law, education, counseling, English, or related fields will be especially favored.
- Language: Native fluency in Chinese, excellent English ability
- Skills: Superior communication, strong time management and multi-tasking ability, superb attention to detail, intercultural awareness, a positive attitude and ability to plan for and adapt to change, abililty to collaborate effectively across departments and cross-functional teams
