 All students are welcome to join the talk given by Mr. Matthew Szymanski.
    Sponsored by China-US Institute (USAI) and initiated by Mr. Matthew Szymanski who was the former Chief of Staff in House of Representatives Small Business Committee and US-China Inter-parliamentary Exchange, the Szymanski Rule of Law Program sponsors up to 2-3 STL students every year to go to Washington DC to observe US legal system first-hand. All participating students are privileged to meet with distinguished senators, representatives, administration officials, judges and congressional staff. The students are also eligible to observe legislative and judicial proceedings, visit historic landmarks, participate social activities and largely in American lives.
    Mr. Szymanski volunteers time to participate in the itinerary during summer, when students will get valuable guidance from Mr. Szymanski. Students self-fund the summer visit costs with Mr. Szymanski and USAI cover small portions of the total costs.
    Mr. Szymanski conducts interviews on campus during March each year. Notice email will be sent to all 2Ls and 3Ls upon soliciting interested applications.
